Ahmed Kamal (Chairman Flood Commission): Climate Change  He said that due to climate change Pakistan has been affected  badly. However, a National Adaptation Plan has been made to protect communities that are vulnerable to the adverse impacts of climate change.He said that it is need of hour to take solid measures to face the climate change in the country and construction of small dams will help to save flood water which can be used to meet the requirements of the agriculture sector.  He said that under short term procedures, awareness campaigns should be organized regarding climate change and protective measures are needed . He said the medium and long term policies require adoption of better ways to save and utilize  flood water during undersized days of water.
