Pakistan is a developing state with its own set of challenges, while the US is considered a super power. Over the last seven decades, the relations between two countries have seen a roller coaster ride but they survived. The credit goes to the successive US governments for maintaining the relationship. Moreover, Pakistan's geo-strategic location plays a key role in its relations with great powers. No one can ignore and deny the importance of Pakistan. The future of Asia is bright and Pakistan is located at the crossroads of Central and South Asia.   Cordial relations with other states are critical for our exports. Best option for Pakistan is to maintain friendly relations with the US and all other countries. Our strategic, economic and other vital interests are aligned with the US.
