March 27, 2022

In Yemen, the Houthi militia has announced a three-day truce and dangled the prospect of a permanent ceasefire.

The leader of Houthi militia, Mahdi al-Mashat, in a televised speech, announced the suspension of missile and drone strikes and all military actions for a period of three days.

He said this is a sincere invitation and practical step to rebuild the trust and take all the sides to act.

Meanwhile, Saudi forces destroyed explosives-laden boats and launched air strikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen.

In a statement, Saudi-led coalition said three people were killed in the operation.
