The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has said that August 5th is one of the most tragic, painful and catastrophic days in the modern history of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In a statement in Srinagar on the completion of four years of Indian siege in Kashmir, Vice Chairman of APHC Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar said it was the day when Hindutva forces in flagrant violation of the international law and UN resolutions scrapped special status of IIOJK and deprived its people of all basic rights.

He urged Kashmiris living on both sides of the line of control and world over to observe on 5th August as Black Day and organize protests, rallies and arrange other programs to invite attention of the world community towards unabated Hindutva terrorism in Kashmir.
