Mumtaz Zahra Baloch (Foreign Office Spokesperson)

Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram played a key role in passing a Resolution to stop the siege of Gaza and allow supply of the relief goods and medicines for affected people of the Gaza strip. It was also demanded at the session of UNSC to bring ceasefire and stop bombing on the innocent people of Gaza. It is the basic responsibility of the UN as well as the International community to implement the international laws in this regard.

Afzal Khan (Member of British Parliament):

History of both Palestine and Kashmir conflicts are traced back to 1940s. For the last 75 years, these two mega conflicts have been in the UN. It is ironic for the whole world that these mega issues have not been resolved in last 75 years. It is need of hour to focus on the progression rather than conflicts. Serious steps are needed to be taken for resolution of these issues. The whole world is protesting against the policies of India and Israel but these two aggressive countries have turned deaf ears to the protesting world. It is also a dilemma that the governments of the western countries are supporting Israel which is committing crime against the humanity.
