In India, the tendency of committing suicides has recorded  ten percent rise after government's weak initiatives taken amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The report released by India's National Crime Records Bureau said that daily wage earners, self-employed and housewives have the highest numbers among those who took their own lives.
