The All Parties Hurriyat Conference says criminal silence of the United Nations on Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir has resulted in the continued suffering of the Kashmiris.

In separate statements in Srinagar, APHC leaders including Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Advocate Arshad Iqbal and Hafza Bano said Indian forces have been wreaking havoc with the lives of the people of occupied Kashmir.

They said by deploying over one million troops, India has turned Occupied Jammu and Kashmir into the most militarized zone in the world.

They said peace in South Asia will continue to remain a distant dream till solution of the Kashmir issue as per the UN resolutions and Kashmiris' aspirations.
