In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference paid tribute to Pakistani martyrs of 1965 war on Pakistan Defence Day today.

In a statement in Srinagar today, the APHC spokesman said Pakistan’s armed forces not only valiantly safeguarded their homeland but also sent a resolute message to India by thwarting its malicious intentions.

He commended Pakistan's unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s just struggle for right to self-determination.

Posters were displayed in Srinagar and other areas of the occupied territory, to celebrate the commitment of Pakistani armed forces to defend Pakistan and stand by their Kashmiri brethren.

Meanwhile, Indian authorities once again placed senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest in Srinagar, barring him from offering the Juma prayers at Jamia Masjid today.
