Altaf Hussain Wani (Hurriyet Leader): We, the Kashmiris, are thankful to the government of Pakistan and its nation for an unconditional support to the Kashmir cause. Pakistan has effectively highlighted Kashmir dispute on all international forums. Unfortunately, the international community for the sake of its economic interests with India adopting double standards on Kashmir issue. The economic interests could be the main reason of instability across the globe. The world overlooks whatever Israel is doing in Palestine and India is doing in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The United States and West is supporting India so India is not only violating human rights in IIOJ&K but also UN resolutions on Kashmir dispute as well. The fact is that despite of worst Indian atrocities in occupied valley, the world still acknowledges Kashmir as a disputed territory. Even the Indian intellectuals are raising concerns over Modi’s policies in IIOJ&K. The controversial Indian elections will have negative impacts not only in Kashmir valley but the entire region will have its impact. This Indian attitude is disturbing the peace in whole region.
