Ali Sarwar Naqvi (Former Ambassador): UNGA session is held every year and different heads of states participate in the session to address the international issues. The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also participate in the session and will highlight Pakistan’s narrative on certain regional and international issues including aspects of climate change, Palestine and Kashmir disputes. There is no doubt that the Prime Minister in his address will urge the UN and the international community to ensure implementation of UN resolutions for the peaceful solution to the Kashmir and Palestine issues. Pakistanis are also playing an important role in peacekeeping missions of the United Nations. Pakistan will have the opportunity to seek support of the international world on different issues of mutual interests.
