Dr. Muhammad Khan (IR Expert): The situation in Middle East is very unfortunate and tragic. No effort is being made from any quarters to stop the aggression of Israel. This is an alarming situation as more and more Palestinians are dying in Israeli bomb strikes. Israel is enjoying the support of Western countries and is carrying out its lethal campaign against innocent Palestinians with impunity. Israel has warned the residents of Gaza to leave the area immediately, otherwise they will be bombed. The United Nations has failed to stop Israel from its genocide of Palestinians. The basic objective of Israel is to expel Palestinians from Gaza and other pockets and occupy the whole area for good. Israel also wants to extend this fight to other neighboring Arab countries to create fear and occupy more land.

Ali Sarwar Naqvi (Former Ambassador): Israel has been pursuing a policy of apartheid against Palestinians for decades. It has subjected Palestinians to humiliation, torture and killing to grab more land. Israel has become a rogue state and does not value the international norms and values. Tel Aviv is using brutal tactics against the Palestinians to crush them. The militant group Hamas in reaction launched rocket and other attacks against Israel, killing over one thousand of its citizens. In return, Israel gave a disproportionate response and killed thousands of innocent Palestinians, including women and children. The criminal silence of world on this tragedy is amazing. It is need of the hour that world takes action and stops Israel from its barbarities in Palestine.
