The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has denounced India’s actions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the territory has been reduced to an open prison and a military garrison.
APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar, slammed the Indian government for failing to resolve the decades-old Kashmir dispute and denying fundamental rights to the Kashmiri people.
He deplored that occupied territory was being treated like a colony and urged the international community to enforce UN Security Council resolutions for the just settlement of the dispute.
Meanwhile, Indian forces arrested several youth during extensive cordon-and-search operations and house raids in various districts of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Residents faced harassment, with important documents and digital devices confiscated during the operations.
On the other hand, Restrictions were intensified along the Srinagar-Jammu and Rajouri highways, causing huge inconvenience to the general public.
