A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between National Assembly Secretariat and a research centre, "MANTAQ" in Islamabad on Friday, that aims at building cooperation and support for legislative drafting, scrutiny and research to ensure quality legislation.

Speaking on the occasion, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser stressed on promoting intelligentsia and academia input for quality legislation.
