In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have beefed up so-called security especially in Srinagar ahead of Prime Minister Modi's visit to the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Modi is scheduled to visit Srinagar and address a rally there on 7th of this month.

Security measures have been specially tightened around the Kashmir International Convention Centre, located on the banks of picturesque Dal Lake in Srinagar, the venue of Modi's rally.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders have paid rich tributes to the victims of Zakura and Tengpora massacres on their 34th anniversary today.

The APHC leaders deplored that 34 years have passed but families of the victims of Zakura and Tengpora carnages are still awaiting justice.

More than 50 people were martyred and dozens others were injured when Indian troops opened fire on peaceful protesters in both the areas of Srinagar on March 1, 1990.
