In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leaders have issued threats to Muslims in Jammu region telling them to either vote for BJP-backed candidates for Lok Sabha election or face genocide by Hindu fanatics.

Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti held a protest in Srinagar against the BJP's despicable action and filed a complaint with the local election commission in this regard.

Meanwhile, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred eight Kashmiris during the last month.                                  

According to Kashmir Media Service, over 96000 Kashmiris have been martyred by Indian troops since 1989.          

On the other hand, the High Court of occupied Jammu and Kashmir has quashed illegal detention of two youth booked under black law Public Safety Act and ordered their release.                

Thousands of people were taken into custody on baseless charges after the Modi regime abrogated Jammu and Kashmir’s special status in August 2019.
