Dr. Muhammad Ali (Vice Chancellor QAU): There is a dire need of making collective efforts to project the true image of Islam, and its message of peace and tolerance. The Muslim world and especially Muslims communities living in Non-Muslim countries must make efforts to raise awareness about Islamophobia and commitment to dialogue with international community to promote mutual respect, peace and coexistence. The academia and media have crucial role to play to portray the true image of Islam. Islamophobia is the result of misconception prevailing in the western world on Muslims. It is our responsibility to counter this narrative through collective efforts.  

Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): It is high time that Pakistan takes action against Indian false allegations. India and Afghanistan do not have any proof against Islamabad. India has a malicious agenda to malign Pakistan at the international front.  The world has already witnessed India's false propaganda to defame and destabilize Pakistan. The global powers have kept criminal silence on India's state sponsored terrorism only for the economic and strategic interests. We must stabilize our economy and political institutions to improve the image of Pakistan to counter India's false narrative.  India is habitual of accusing Pakistan through false accusations.

Najam us Saqib (Former Ambassador): The incumbent government has taken a great initiative by digitalizing the state media. It is the need of the hour to reach out to whole of the world. Digitalization would improve the picture and sound quality. Prime Minister Imran Khan has emphasized the need of taking collective actions to address the issue of Islamophobia and spread the true message of our great religion. Unfortunately, the West has wrongly associated terrorism with Islam. The false image of Islam is based on misunderstandings and misconceptions. Islam has nothing to do with terrorism. This false narrative is being built up intentionally to defame Islam. The Christians and Zionists are afraid of Muslim unity. It is high time that the Muslim world utilizes all its resources to defeat this false narrative. Media is an effective tool to address the issue of Islamophobia.
