In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, victim families of Thune-Kangan massacre await justice for the past 33 years whose near and dear ones were martyred by BSF in the Gandrabal district on this day in 1990.

According to Kashmir Media Service, fifteen people were massacred and a dozen were injured when the bus, in which they were travelling, was fired and burnt by the BSF personnel without any provocation.

The perpetrators of this heinous crime were scot-free as they enjoy impunity under black law, Armed Forces Special Powers Act.

Pro-freedom leaders and organizations while paying tributes to the victims of the Thune-Kangan massacre have appealed the G20 countries to pressure Modi-led Indian government to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

The appeal has been made through the posters pasted in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir Valley.

Meanwhile, India’s infamous National Investigation Agency  has conducted raids at the residence of a Kashmiri youth, Nisar Ahmed, in Poonch district.  Nisar Ahmed had been arrested in a fake case and currently languishing in jail.
