The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has urged India to fulfill its promise to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir about granting them the right to self-determination to decide their political future.

In separate statements in Srinagar, APHC leaders including Yaseen Attai, Fareeda Behanji, Khawaja Firdous, and Bashir Andrabi said that the Kashmir dispute is the root cause of tension and unrest in South Asia.

They maintained that lasting peace, stability and development can only be achieved through resolving this dispute as per UN resolution.
