Pakistan armed forces, people must fight terrorism together
August 26, 2024

Brigadier (Retired) Said Nazeer (Defense Analyst): The Baloch separatists fighting in Balochistan have created hatred among ethnicities specially Punjabis and Sindhis who are being targeted along with other civilians who are mostly workers or employees or have business concerns. Targeting a bus in the province is a very sad incident in the province. These innocent people come to work and develop Balochistan and earn their livelihood. First thing is that they are Pakistanis and if Pakistanis cannot work in peace anywhere then the law and order situation and peace is being questioned.

The Baloch people generally are very hospitable and they are not violent by the nature. As far as separatist elements are concerned, the way they target the foreigners and especially the Chinese, this is the work and architect of Indian like hostile agency. When we see the overall game, we see in the big game there is alongside TTP, Daesh and also the Afghan Taliban are providing them the sanctuaries. They want to create a nexus or umbrella organization where both the Baloch separatists and outfits, which are on Afghan side, are brood and then they want to attack Pakistan armed forces and civilians so that the mistrust for security forces is created and message is conveyed that those who are working in Balochistan and are not Baloch, they should leave Balochistan. The same thing is happening in KP where Lashkar-e-Islami is attacking Pakistan armed forces as well as the civilians. Our security forces are fighting against them and rendering great sacrifices.

The political polarization in Pakistan is taking advantage of this polarization by the enemies of Pakistan. Pakistan armed forces and the people must fight this terrorism together.
